Membership Benefits

For a nominal annual fee, providers can become individual members of SW ID ME.

In addition to providing access to a community of providers interested in maintaining their commitment to life-long learning and improving patient care by staying abreast of the latest clinical and administrative developments, SW ID ME members also enjoy the following benefits:

CME Activities

Grand Rounds:

All SW ID AHEC CME members can attend the weekly Grand Rounds which cover a variety of relevant concepts, with a special focus on primary care.

Remote Attendance:

SW ID ME members who can’t attend Grand Rounds in person can still participate online via WebEx.

SW ID ME-Certified Activities:

SW ID ME members are often invited to participate in a majority of the activities SW ID ME certifies for CME credit. Information about these activities is included in our monthly newsletter and on the calendar section of our website.

Online CME Credit Tracking

All SW ID ME members can have their CME credits tracked – both for activities SW ID ME certifies for CME credit and for external activities.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are tracked in our database, and can be accessed anytime online using the login information provided upon becoming a member. Even better, credits are automatically tracked for SW ID ME-certified activities. All you have do is sign in at the event and we’ll do the rest! For all other activities, a copy of your certificate can be uploaded to our database to have the credits added to your transcript.

Members can print out copies of their CME transcript to use when the time comes to renew their license or board certification – more convenient than tracking down old certificates!

SW ID AHEC Newsletter

All SW ID ME members receive a copy of our monthly newsletter, Frontier Footnotes. Our newsletter provides members with the latest developments in CME in the Treasure Valley, Idaho and beyond, as well as a calendar of upcoming CME activities.
